A Bit About Therapy
I focus on helping clients identify and attain their own personal goals in therapy. I believe in empowering clients while compassionately guiding them through the therapy process with a mind-body approach to healing. Therapy is a collaborative process between my clients and myself. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment. My mission is to help guide you through the difficult process of accepting your emotions, learning coping skills, and embracing all that life brings to us with compassion.
Individual sessions are structured to meet you where you are. The initial session will allow me to understand where you are coming from and what you want from therapy. I also offer free 15 minute phone consultations in order to see if we might be a good fit.
I take on a select few couples for Couples Counseling work. I utilize tools from Interpersonal Neurobiology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and the Gottman Method.
